When it comes to careers, you quickly realize how much time and energy they suck out of your life if it’s a job you aren’t crazy about. Finding a job we truly enjoy, which for me meant managing my own time in my own way, should be a priority ambition!
The photo to the right is me living one of my career dreams! Well, the first stop on the career dream — that is me in my “outdoor office” as I like to call it, enjoying flexibility and control over my destiny including the ability to work where ever I want.

My day to day, my outlook and my success has changed remarkably now that I’ve embraced what I’m truly good at. I’m still trying to figure out what my calling is. I can’t take working for a company that is no growth and not my passion. My passion is making and creating things, I just don’t know where to start?
Well the good thing is that you KNOW what you’re passion is, Natalie…because that in itself can be hard to figure out. When it comes to getting started with something you create (whether it’s jewelry design, painting, music, etc), the approach is first to create your collection…and online portfolio, a physical one as well if it applies. After that it’s about figuring out how you want to get people to pay attention. I think this will make a great blog post actually! Stay tuned
Also, do you know what you want to create? Or still trying to figure that out? I’ve seen some amazing jewelry come outta you…but not sure what else you have up your sleeve!
Nat, don’t you know!? You’ve ALREADY started! An Artist’s life’s work is a journey. Most Artist’s, Designer’s, Writer’s etc. spend years trying, testing and editing different platforms to express their creativity. Lana has a gift with helping us creative types realize our gift! Apply her advise and watch things happen!
